Explore and experience the culture and landscape of Costa Rica. With more than 500,000 plant and animal species, and 27 percent of the country protected land, Costa Rica is one of the planets most naturally beautiful and biologically dense countries.

USF's five-week summer program enables students to experience the culture of Costa Rica through study of both the Spanish language and the country's unique geology. Students will experience the contrasts and variety of scenery of Costa Rica's famous volcanoes, its Caribbean and Pacific beaches, and immense tropical forest reserves.
